Fort Anne, National Historic Site
Fort Anne, located in downtown Annapolis Royal, is a National Historic Site dating back to the early 18th century. It features original earthen work fortifications, 18th century gunpowder magazine and a reconstruction of the Garrison House, the British field officers quarters.

Nova Scotia Tidal Power Project
Located on the Annapolis River causeway, the Nova Scotia power plant demonstates the science of generating power from the tides of the Bay of Fundy. It is the only salt water generating station in north America and provides an informative interpretive centre as well as the local visitor information centre.
